If your child’s face turns yellow, this is how you should treat it!

Some children are pink and tender when they are young and very cute. But as they grow up, parents will find that the children are not hungry. Sometimes they even seem to eat well, but their complexion becomes yellow and dull. Parents may think that their children are not getting enough nutrition, so they try to supplement them. In fact, if you don’t regulate the child’s spleen and stomach, no amount of supplements will be of any use.

A yellow complexion may be caused by a weak spleen and stomach

Children's weak spleen and stomach are mostly caused by long-term irregular diet, excessive consumption of raw and cold foods, long-term use of antibiotics or certain diseases (such as chronic pneumonia). Children with weak spleen and stomach often have yellow complexion or uneven facial pigmentation (spotted appearance), sparse hair, weight loss, brittle and thin nails with white spots, and frequent paroxysmal umbilical pain that varies in severity. Children with weak spleen and stomach and internal cold have a good appetite, but have frequent and large bowel movements, and have diarrhea right after eating. Children with weak spleen and stomach and internal heat have a poor appetite and dry stools (once every two or three days). This is mostly caused by eating too many snacks or drinking too much milk.

How to treat children's weak spleen and stomach

1. Eat less dry, spicy and other heavy-tasting foods

Children should not be fed too much fried, pickled, puffed, etc. food. These foods are not only difficult to digest, but also harmful to the physical development of children.

2. Children with weak spleen and stomach should eat more hot drinks

This type of children cannot eat too much yogurt, as it is not conducive to maintaining intestinal balance. Instead, they should eat more yam, barley porridge, pumpkin porridge, etc. They can also take some spleen-strengthening Chinese patent medicines in moderation.

3. Proper feeding

Children should be given a scientific diet on a daily basis. Their diet should include both meat and vegetables, coarse and fine foods. They should not be given drugs such as heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs or fire-removing drugs, as this can easily damage their stomachs. They should also reduce the number and quantity of snacks they give their children, and develop correct and scientific eating habits.

4. Chiropractic

To regulate a child's weak spleen and stomach, you can give the child appropriate spinal massage, which is very effective. Specific operation method: The parent's hands are like empty fists, and then the thumb is used to press the protruding part of the child's back, and then push from top to bottom. Do it twice a day, which can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and restore the body's meridians and blood circulation to normal. Pinching the spine can not only regulate spleen and stomach weakness, but also strengthen the body and improve physical fitness.
