What to do if your child has rhinitis and nasal congestion

Generally, babies will have very obvious symptoms of rhinitis and nasal congestion, often accompanied by runny nose, sneezing and other symptoms. Sometimes they are active and perennial. Allergic rhinitis is seasonal and is most prevalent in spring. So what are the ways to relieve it?

1. Onion Mucus

The mucus in onions can suppress inflammation. Cut off the white part of the onion, which contains mucus. This mucus is effective for nasal inflammation symptoms, can allow air to circulate in the nose and cure nasal congestion.

Applying the mucus on the bridge of the nose is very effective. Alternatively, you can cut the white part of the green onion into thin strips, put it in a bowl, pour in hot water, add a small amount of miso, and drink it two to three times a day. Or just adding it to miso is also very effective.

2. Orange peel

Aim a fresh orange peel at your nostrils and squeeze it hard, then spray the juice into your nasal cavity, and your nose will be unblocked soon. Also, grind vitamin C into powder, then inhale a small amount into your nose, and your nose will be unblocked.

3. White radish juice

You can also treat nasal congestion by soaking cotton wool in white radish juice and then plugging it into your nostrils alternately. Alternatively, you can add salt to strong, coarse tea and use a scrubber to clean your nasal cavity, which can also eliminate nasal congestion.

4. Soak cotton in hot water

Soak cotton in hot water and wring it dry, then apply it to your ears for 10 minutes. This will prevent your nose from getting blocked when you sleep.

5. Lotus root juice

Lotus root juice can help clear the nose. Lotus root can shrink the skin and mucous membranes, eliminate inflammation, and is very effective for nasal congestion.

You can take a lotus node and mash it into a paste, then use cotton wool to squeeze out the juice and stuff it into one nostril. Repeat this action alternately and continuously to get rid of nasal congestion. Especially before going to bed, the effect is better. Alternatively, you can take 2 or 3 drops of lotus root juice and drip it into your nostrils.
