1. People with excessive stomach acid should eat foods containing alkaline ingredients, such as milk, blood, soy sauce, spinach, rapeseed, key cabbage and other fresh vegetables and fruits (alkaline fruits, such as lemon, orange, grapefruit, grape, sugarcane juice, green plum, apple, tomato); and eat less acidic foods, such as beans, peanuts, vinegar, oily foods, etc.

2. It is advisable to eat low-fat and low-sugar foods, as high-fat and sweet foods can cause increased gastric acid secretion. Avoid consuming condiments that stimulate increased stomach acid, such as chili, coffee, mustard, etc.

3. If you have too much stomach acid, you should eat mainly pasta. Pasta can dilute stomach acid, and the alkali in it can also neutralize stomach acid. Milk, soy milk, porridge, etc. can dilute stomach acid and protect the gastric mucosa.

4. Change your eating habits, eat on time, and sit down to eat instead of standing or squatting. Avoid spicy, fried, smoked foods such as barbecue, do not eat too sour, too cold and other stimulating foods, do not drink alcohol, and drink less strong tea, coffee, etc. Eat more vegetarian dishes and crude fiber foods such as celery, mushrooms, etc.

5. Eat on time. Snacks can stimulate the increase of gastric acid. Do not overeat to avoid irritating the gastric antrum and causing increased gastric acid secretion.

6. It is recommended to eat weak alkaline foods, which can neutralize excess stomach acid, such as: tofu, peas, soybeans, mung beans, rapeseed, celery, sweet potatoes, lotus roots, onions, eggplants, pumpkins, cucumbers, mushrooms, radishes, etc.

7. Papaya is suitable for the stomach and can be used as a stomach-nourishing food. However, for people with high stomach acid, do not use too much. Also, you must remember that the stomach likes dryness and hates cold. In addition to ice foods, other cold foods such as mung bean paste should not be eaten too much.
