What causes my baby to have recurrent oral ulcers?

Oral ulcers are a disease that can occur in all age groups. Adults and babies may suffer from this disease. The reason why babies suffer from this disease is mostly due to lack of vitamins, low immunity, or too much time playing and excessive fatigue.

1. Lack of vitamins

Most babies like to eat meat and don’t like to eat vegetables. Some children don’t even want to eat more fruits. However, vegetables and fruits contain the most vitamins. Simply eating meat will naturally cause the baby’s body to lack these vitamins, which will directly lead to oral ulcers.

2. Weak immunity

It is normal for babies to have low immunity. As children grow older, their resistance and immunity will increase, and the incidence of oral ulcers will be reduced appropriately. Improving immunity is an issue that parents of babies should pay attention to, because once the immunity decreases, bacteria and viruses will invade the child's body and cause some diseases.

3. Overwork

Children who are too playful or whose parents take them out for travel without getting enough rest, and teenagers and children who overdraw their bodies due to academic pressure can also cause recurrent oral ulcers. Excessive fatigue can lead to some environmental imbalances in the body. Environmental imbalances in the body are equivalent to giving viruses and bacteria the opportunity to invade, and the appearance of symptoms is obvious.

4. Virus and bacteria invasion

There is a virus that is prevalent now. After entering the baby's body, oral ulcers will occur. In fact, if this virus is not controlled in time, it is what we often call hand, foot and mouth disease. Generally, children with hand, foot and mouth disease only have simple oral ulcers in the early stage of the disease. After a few days of the onset period, small blisters will appear on the hands and feet. Therefore, during the season when hand, foot and mouth disease occurs, we must pay attention to children's personal hygiene and take all preventive measures.
