What should a 2-year-old child eat if he has a cough?

If a two-year-old child gets sick all the time, it is the most annoying and headache for many adults, because it is easy for a child to cough after catching a cold, and if the child coughs severely, the throat will also hurt. In this case, the child cannot eat normally, which has a great impact on the child. A two-year-old child must have a reasonable diet, especially during the period of a child's cough. You can't blindly feed the child some food. So what should a two-year-old child eat when he coughs?

1. Ginger + brown sugar + garlic: When children catch a cold, drinking warm ginger and brown sugar water can play a good therapeutic role. If the child also has a cough, add 2-3 cloves of garlic to the ginger and brown sugar water and cook them together. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes to cook off the spiciness of the garlic so that the child will be willing to drink it.

2. Steamed garlic water: Take 2-3 cloves of garlic, smash them, put them in a bowl, add half a bowl of water, put in a piece of rock sugar, cover the bowl, put it in the pot to steam, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 15 minutes over low heat. When the garlic water in the bowl is no longer hot but still relatively warm, feed it to the child. The garlic does not need to be eaten. Generally, feed it 2-3 times a day, half a bowl each time. If the child is 5-6 years old, 4-5 cloves of garlic can be used, and adults can use 7-8 cloves. Garlic is warm in nature and enters the spleen, stomach and lung meridians. It is very effective in treating cold coughs and kidney deficiency coughs. It is also convenient and simple, and children are willing to drink it.

3. Roast oranges: Roast the oranges directly on low heat, turning them constantly until the peel turns black and hot air comes out of the oranges. Leave it for a while, not too hot, peel off the blackened peel, and let the children eat the warm orange segments inside. If it is a large orange, the child can eat 2-3 segments at a time. If it is a small tribute orange, the child can eat one at a time. It is best to take it with garlic water, 2-3 times a day. Oranges are warm in nature and have the effect of resolving phlegm and relieving coughs, especially the outer red part of the orange peel, which is also called orange peel. When you have a cold cough and a lot of phlegm, the phlegm is white and sticky. After eating roasted oranges, the amount of phlegm will be significantly reduced. The antitussive effect is very obvious, and children are willing to eat it.
