How to remove burn scars from children?

Modern people's living standards have improved, but more and more parents are too busy with work to care for their children, and the care they provide for their children remains more on the material level. Therefore, in recent years, there have been many accidents where children were scalded by hot water, and part of the responsibility lies with adults not keeping an eye on their children. The severity of the burn will vary, and the treatment methods will also be different. So, how do children remove burn scars?

Treatment for first-degree burns: Apply balm or aloe vera juice to the injured area. It usually heals in 3 to 5 days. If you have burn medicine, the recovery effect will be better. However, do not apply toothpaste, soy sauce or other liquids or pastes with unknown medicinal properties on the wound at will, otherwise it will irritate the wound, cause infection, and be detrimental to recovery.

Treatment of second degree burns:

If you are burned or scalded, do not rinse or soak the wound with raw or cold water to prevent heat toxins from seeping into the wound, causing wound infection and skin ulcers.

The correct way to do it is:

1. Move away from heat sources quickly and take off clothes to expose the wound. If clothes are stuck to the wound and cannot be taken off forcibly, you can use scissors to cut the clothes open.

2. Use white wine (edible white wine with a concentration of 20 to 50 degrees) or the second rice washing water to rinse the wound to cool it down and prevent residual heat from causing deeper burns to the skin.

3. If blisters form due to burns, you need to use a sterilized needle or sterilized scissors to prick the blisters, and keep the blister skin. Do not cut it off or tear it off with your hands. This can protect the wound and prevent infection.

4. If the wound is clean and free of foreign matter, you can directly use burn medicine for treatment, such as Miao medicine (yao) Shaotan Ling. It is recommended to use Chinese medicine for treatment. If there is no burn medicine, you can use aloe vera juice instead. Squeeze the aloe vera juice and apply it to the wound without bandaging. Exposure therapy is more beneficial to wound recovery and reduces the chance of scarring.

5. If there is foreign matter left in the wound, you must carefully clean the wound, remove the foreign matter, and then use medication for treatment.

Treatment of third degree burns:

Third-degree burns can be treated in the same way as second-degree burns. If the third-degree burn is over a large area, it is recommended to use the above methods for emergency treatment and then send to the hospital for infusion treatment in time.

In fact, children’s skin tissue is very fragile, but their wounds are also the easiest to recover. As for how to remove burn scars, several methods are given above. If you want to effectively remove burn scars from children, you must treat the wound quickly and effectively when it is burned to prevent scars from leaving. At the same time, you should pay more attention to your diet, for example, you should not eat soy sauce, soy products, and greasy fried foods.
