What is causing the humming sound in my baby's chest?

In daily life, parents will be very worried if they find some abnormal symptoms in their baby's body while taking care of the baby, because the baby's body resistance is still very weak, and sometimes some minor illnesses may develop into more serious diseases. Symptoms of phlegm in baby's lungs

Coughing is a defensive physiological reflex caused by irritation of the respiratory mucosa. Because the ciliary system of adults is well developed, it can transport foreign matter, secretions and sputum in the airway to the throat, stimulating the body to produce a cough reflex and cough up the sputum in time. Infants and young children are not yet fully developed physically, and a lot of phlegm and germs accumulate in their trachea and lungs, aggravating inflammation. Therefore, the first thing to do when your baby coughs is to expectorate.

Treatment of phlegm in baby's lungs

1. Drink more water: Especially during a cough, if the body is dehydrated, the sputum will become thick and difficult to cough out. Drinking more water can dilute the sticky secretions and make them easier to cough out. In addition, you should eat less sweets and cold drinks.

2. Pat the back to expel phlegm: Patting with appropriate force can help loosen the phlegm in the baby's lungs and bronchi and expel it into the trachea. The method is to hold the baby upright, make a fist with one hand, and then pat the baby's chest and back from bottom to top in order, especially on the baby's back and lower chest, where phlegm is more likely to accumulate.
