There is a popular activity in many entertainment venues, that is rafting. The feeling of floating downstream is very refreshing, especially among young people. But can children raft? Rafting is a relatively exciting activity. Whether children can play it depends on the rafting route. If it is too tortuous and dangerous, it is best not to let children play. If it is relatively stable, children can experience it with the accompaniment of adults.

Is rafting dangerous for children?

Generally speaking, rafting river sections are relatively safe. As long as you do not get off the boat on your own initiative, do not fight with each other, and do not take the initiative to grab floating objects in the water and grass, trees and stones on the shore, the raft will not capsize.

How tall can a child go rafting?

It has to be 1.5 meters tall. However, the requirements of different scenic spots may vary.

1. Rafting is a kind of outdoor water sports tourism activity. Patients with mental illness, heart disease, dementia and vitiligo, pregnant women, hypertension, severe myopia and other diseases should not participate in such activities; children under 1.5 meters and people over 50 years old should not participate in rafting activities. Drunk people are not allowed to raft!

2. Before rafting, please hand over your valuables to the storage area for safekeeping to avoid loss or leakage. Please keep the locker key safe.

3. When rafting, please wear life jackets and pay attention to the channel guidance signs.

4. During the rafting process, please do not leave the boat at will or go to the jungle or dangerous areas alone to avoid accidents.

5. Please do not hand over your watercraft or life jackets to others or discard them at will.

6. During rafting, walking and the entire tourist activity, please follow the guidance, arrangements and advice of the staff. If an accident occurs, please contact staff immediately.

7. Please protect the natural scenery and ecological environment, maintain the hygiene of the river and its banks, and to ensure the safety of you and others, it is strictly prohibited to bring breakable glass containers and flammable and explosive items into the river.

Children can go rafting, but it is best to wait until they are 1.5 meters tall.
