Sometimes children will feel physically uncomfortable if you don’t pay attention, usually they will catch a cold or have a stomachache. This is mainly because they are not taken good care of in normal times. Especially when they have a fever, many parents will be particularly worried. We must pay attention to such situations. So what should we do if a 3-year-old child has a stomachache and fever? Let’s learn more about it through the following introduction.

If a child has a fever, you should first reduce the temperature

1. Cold compress method: This method is simple and easy. Apply a cold towel to your head and replace it after the towel becomes warm.

Note: Do not place ice packs on the chest and abdomen to prevent a slow heart rate or diarrhea.

2. Warm water bath: Undress the baby and scrub the whole body with warm water at about 37 degrees. This will dilate the blood vessels in the baby's skin and help dissipate heat. In addition, when water vapor evaporates from the body surface, it will also absorb body heat.

3. Alcohol bath for babies with high fever above 39 degrees. You can use 75% alcohol added with half water, and use gauze or a soft towel to wipe the baby's palms, soles of feet, armpits, inner sides of upper arms, chest and thighs. Note: The method of wiping with alcohol bath is as follows: upper limbs: armpit - outer side of upper arm - arm: armpit - inner side of upper arm - palm; lower limbs: lateral hip - outer side of thigh - dorsum of foot; groin - inner side of thigh.
