2. Air circulation

The air in the home should be fresh and the temperature should be suitable, and windows should be opened regularly for ventilation. Avoid having too many people in the room, prohibit smoking, prevent air pollution, and avoid secondary infection.

The child should rest in bed and drink plenty of warm water within a week. Children will have a poor appetite due to fever and oral herpes, so the diet should be light, delicious and easy to digest. If there is oral erosion, they can eat some liquid food. Avoid eating cold, spicy, salty and other irritating foods.

5. Rash care

The child's clothes and bedding should be kept clean; clothes should be loose, soft, and changed frequently. The bed should be flat and dry. Keep the child's nails short and wrap his or her hands if necessary to prevent him or her from scratching the rash. For children with rashes on the buttocks, their urine and feces should be cleaned at all times and their buttocks should be kept clean and dry. Children with ruptured herpes can apply 1% gentian violet or antibiotic ointment.
