What are the dangers of childhood obesity?

There are many reasons why childhood obesity rates are rising. For example, some people agree not to eat in the morning, or often like to eat snacks and ignore the main meals. Some children are severely picky eaters, only eating meat and not vegetables, which can lead to overnutrition and obesity in children. Other children gradually become fat because they don’t like physical exercise. Childhood obesity is also closely related to genetics. Obesity is very harmful to the body. Please see the introduction below.

The hazards of excessive obesity, early onset of chronic diseases, and some cancers are closely related to obesity. The current health hazards of obesity to children can be divided into two parts: one is biological harm, which directly leads to a series of physiological and pathological changes in tissues and organs in the body, which can also be said to be early symptoms of some diseases, such as high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, sugar metabolism disorders, and even diabetes, fatty liver, etc.

The other part is polycystic ovary syndrome. The incidence rate of the general population in women of childbearing age between 15 and 45 years old is about 5%-7%, and the proportion of obese individuals is even higher. This may directly lead to abnormal development of some female sexual functions and infertility. Cervical cancer and breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men are all closely related to obesity.

In the past two years, pancreatic cancer has increased rapidly in my country, which is closely related to obesity. Now with the rise of obesity, some digestive tract tumors, such as colon cancer and large intestine cancer, have increased significantly.

There are many bad eating habits that are important causes of childhood obesity. For example, some children particularly like to eat sweets, or particularly like to eat greasy and spicy food, which can easily make them gain weight. Some children like to drink broth or sweet carbonated drinks, or watch TV or play computer games after meals and don't like to exercise. In order to avoid childhood obesity, parents must help their children correct these bad habits in a timely manner.
