Children's hunchback is a problem that cannot be ignored. Parents and teachers should always supervise children to maintain good posture in daily life and study. Hunchback is not only an image problem for children, but also affects the child's normal development and physical health to a great extent. If it is not controlled and corrected in childhood, it will have a great impact on future work, life and mate selection. At present, the incidence of scoliosis among primary and secondary school students in my country shows a clear upward trend. However, scoliosis has not yet received much attention from families, schools and society. The Beijing Rehabilitation Medicine Association pointed out in a recent report that myopia, scoliosis and psychological problems have become the three major obstacles to the healthy development of adolescents, and survey data show that these three problems are showing a worsening trend. At the same time, another survey report shows that among the thousands of majors in universities and colleges in my country, 42% of the majors restrict students with myopia, hunchbacks, poor posture, etc. from applying. This means that problems such as scoliosis, hunchback, and myopia caused by poor sitting, standing, and walking postures are not only obstacles to growth and development, but also directly affect young people's future education and employment. (1) Exercise is a good way to prevent hunchback ① Pay attention to the correct posture of the body. Whether standing or walking, the chest should be naturally straight and the shoulders should be naturally stretched backwards. When sitting, the spine should be straight. When reading or writing, do not lower your head too much, and do not lie on the table. There is a certain reason for what people say about "standing like a pine tree and sitting like a bell". ②It is best for growing adolescents to sleep on a hard bed so that the spine can remain straight during sleep. ③ Strengthen physical exercise. Take physical education classes seriously, do exercises during class breaks, and promote the development of muscle strength. Do corrective gymnastics on the basis of comprehensive exercise. There are many kinds of corrective gymnastics, including various forms of freehand exercises and corrective exercises using various sports equipment. Correction of hunchback mainly focuses on strengthening back muscles, straightening the trunk and expanding the chest. (2) Develop good habits. Adolescents are in a critical period of physical development. Their bones and muscles grow rapidly, and the human skeleton has not yet taken shape, which is a period of bone plasticity. In this process, affected by external forces, the bones are very easy to bend and deform; the child's bad posture, working at the desk for too long, carrying heavy loads, etc., change the four normal physiological curvatures of the human spine, leading to an imbalance in the three-dimensional force system, resulting in hunched back, scoliosis, myopia, different lengths of legs, uneven shoulders, and short height. The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine says: "Long-term sitting will damage the bones, long-term labor will damage the qi..." This means that long-term improper sitting will damage the bones and cause body deformities. Teenagers have not yet gained sufficient vitality, their bones are not strong, their bones are relatively soft, and they are prone to hunchback deformation. When a child has a slight hunchback, is restless, has difficulty concentrating, is hyperactive, and has a poor appetite, it means that there may be a problem with the spine. If it is not corrected and treated in time, the child will eventually become hunchbacked. If left unchecked for a long time, it will affect the normal development of cardiopulmonary function and other body functions. In daily life, parents can also remind their children in many aspects. For example, they should not sit for a long time watching TV or playing computer games, or let their children go out for a walk and exercise after studying for one or two hours. The pillow should not be too high when sleeping. It is suitable for them to sleep on a hard bed, and lying flat is the best posture. |
