Are there any side effects to children's motion sickness medicine?

In life, some children suffer from motion sickness. Often before riding in a car, parents will give their babies motion sickness medicine to prevent them from experiencing motion sickness symptoms during the ride. In fact, what I want to say is that motion sickness medicine must not be taken casually. After all, the baby is still young, and some medicines are very irritating, which has great disadvantages for the healthy growth of the baby. So parents must pay attention to it. So, does children's motion sickness medicine have side effects?

Does children's motion sickness medicine have any side effects? Can it be given to babies?

1. We do not recommend that parents give motion sickness medicine to children after they get motion sickness, especially children under four years old, because the child's nervous system is still in the development stage at this time. If children take medicine casually, it will interfere with the normal work of the body's system.

2. If parents know that their children are prone to motion sickness, they should make preparations. For example, they should not let their children eat too much or eat greasy food before getting on the car. Greasy food can easily cause nausea. But try not to let your child be too hungry before getting on the bus.

3. If the child's motion sickness symptoms are severe, sticking a piece of ginger on the child's navel can effectively help relieve the symptoms, or adults can press the child's Neiguan or Hegu points to relieve the symptoms.

It doesn't mean that motion sickness medicine cannot be given to babies, but it is best not to give it to babies. Parents can give their babies other foods that can relieve motion sickness symptoms. Because the medicine is very irritating, for the healthy growth of the baby, it is recommended not to give the baby motion sickness medicine or to give the baby as little motion sickness medicine as possible.
