What foods are good for children's bowel movements?

The intestinal development of children is not yet complete, so it is easy to have some problems at this time. If the intestinal development of children is not good, and they are given some indigestible foods, then this will make the children even more unhealthy, and will also induce poor intestinal function, dry stool, and difficulty in defecation. These phenomena will also deeply trouble the children and cause them to have abdominal distension. So what are the foods that can moisturize the intestines and relieve constipation in children?

1. Blanch 200 grams of spinach in boiling water for about 4 minutes, then remove from the water and mix with sesame oil. Eat once in the morning and once in the evening. It is beneficial to the five internal organs and regulates the qi, and has the effect of moistening the intestines and relieving constipation. It can be eaten by the elderly, children and postpartum women with constipation, and is especially suitable for those with constipation due to hypertension or sequelae of brain trauma. Other laxative effects of spinach (Note: People with weak constitution and loose stools should not eat too much. Patients with nephritis and kidney stones should not eat it)

(1) To cure thirst: Spinach roots and chicken gizzard lining are divided into equal parts, ground into powder, and taken with rice soup, three times a day. (2) Night blindness: 250g fresh spinach and 200g pork liver, cook and eat lightly.

(3) Urinary obstruction, gastrointestinal heat, chest discomfort, constipation: Cook fresh spinach in soup and eat lightly. 2. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, constipation is caused by spleen deficiency and qi deficiency. I use food to adjust spleen deficiency and qi deficiency. Qi-replenishing foods: dates, cowpeas. Foods that nourish the spleen and promote bowel movements: peanuts, soybeans, dates (diabetics cannot eat dates, but can boil date pits in water, and then use the water to cook porridge), add 10 grams each of peanuts and soybeans (peanuts and soybeans are high in calories, diabetics should not eat too much), add 1 tael of millet and 5 grams of wolfberry to cook porridge. I call this laxative porridge.

3. Boiled water laxative method: A simple and easy laxative method. Get up every morning and drink a few glasses of boiled water. You can have a smooth bowel movement. Drink more boiled water. It not only guarantees the needs of the human body, but also plays a role in diuresis, detoxification and elimination of waste in the body.

4. Radish: Also known as radish, it is divided into different varieties such as white skin, green skin, and red skin. It can be eaten raw or cooked. Its VC content is 10 times that of pear. It contains enzymes that work together with VC, and contains interferon inducers. It has antiviral and anti-cancer effects. Eating raw radish is spicy, sweet, and cool in nature. It has the effects of eliminating stagnation, resolving phlegm and relieving fever. It is effective for bronchitis and cough. The lignin and spicy substances it contains have anti-cancer effects, and it is rich in vitamin C.

5. Eat raw cabbage hearts: Cabbage is a popular vegetable. It is slightly cold in nature, sweet in taste, and has the function of detoxifying, removing heat, and promoting digestion. People who suffer from irritability, thirst, constipation, and yellow and scanty urine can eat cabbage regularly. Cabbage contains more crude fiber and vitamins A, B, and C, especially vitamin C. The cellulose in cabbage can promote the peristalsis of the intestinal wall, help digestion, and prevent dry stools. Eating cabbage hearts raw does not destroy the nutrition of cabbage and is very effective in relieving constipation. Eat half a pound of cabbage hearts each time. Whenever my mother feels that she has to defecate but can't, she will eat cabbage and drink water, and she will be able to defecate quickly.

6. Zucchini: Also known as American pumpkin, western pumpkin, and also known as stir-fried pumpkin. Every 100 grams of zucchini contains more than 94 grams of water. It is a low-calorie food with a high content of vitamin A. The rest of the vitamins and minerals are similar to those of winter squash, and the proportion of potassium and magnesium is higher. Its quality is better than that of winter squash. It also contains more cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and pectin. These substances cannot be hydrolyzed by human digestive enzymes, but they can promote intestinal peristalsis and facilitate the excretion of feces. Sometimes my mother eats zucchini raw, which is more effective than cooked, and can also be used to make soup to help with constipation

According to the tips above, we know what foods children should choose when they need to moisten the intestines and relieve constipation. These foods are very good for children's constipation. However, when children have indigestion and dry stools, they must be given more water and light food. During this period, remember to make the children happy so that they are not under too much pressure. Give them more bananas to help with constipation.
