Symptoms of rhinitis in a three-year-old child

Rhinitis is most of the time a disease caused by nasal problems that accumulate over time, so when a child has any nasal problems, parents should pay great attention to it, otherwise it will develop into rhinitis, which will be very difficult to treat. Many parents have found that their three-year-old children also suffer from rhinitis. So what are the symptoms of rhinitis in three-year-old children?

Symptoms and signs of rhinitis in three-year-olds

The precursors of rhinitis can be roughly divided into several types: sneezing, clear nasal discharge, itchy nose, nasal congestion, loss of smell, and headache.

1. The child's nasal ventilation will be affected, so the oxygen content entering the child's body will be reduced, which will cause the blood saturation in the child's body to gradually decrease, and will also cause hypoxia in the child's organs, which will affect the child's physical development.

2. If children's rhinitis is not treated for a long time, it may cause poor memory and reduced intelligence. At this time, the child may have regular cyclical headaches and sometimes dizziness.

3. After a child gets rhinitis, his nose may be blocked and he will breathe through his mouth. The outside air, especially some polluted air, will directly irritate the child's throat, which can easily cause various respiratory infections. In addition, long-term mouth breathing will also affect the development of facial muscles.

What should you pay attention to after you have rhinitis?

1. Rhinitis is mostly caused by colds, so you should strengthen physical exercise and enhance your resistance. Morning jogging, swimming, cold baths, and washing your face with cold water can enhance your physical fitness, increase your body's tolerance to cold, and avoid colds.

2. Avoid excessive fatigue, lack of sleep, cold, smoking, drinking and other daily health care for rhinitis, because these factors can reduce the body's resistance, causing the regulatory function of the nasal mucosa to deteriorate, allowing viruses to take advantage of the opportunity to enter and cause illness.

3. Change and wash bed sheets and quilt covers in time to prevent mites and their secretions from inducing allergic rhinitis.

4. Maintain the humidity of the indoor air, or use an air filter to prevent your nose from being too dry and keep it moist.

5. In autumn and winter or during cold epidemics, wear a mask when going out, avoid public gatherings, go to public places as little as possible, isolate those who are sick, and use white vinegar to fumigate the contaminated indoor air for disinfection.

I believe that many parents have already understood the symptoms and precursors of rhinitis in children aged three, and can better prevent the occurrence of colds. Children have relatively weaker resistance and are more susceptible to infection than adults. It is not easy to recover from the disease, and rhinitis is easy to occur, so parents need to pay more attention. Give your children a happy, carefree and healthy childhood.
