How to treat gastritis in children

As people's living standards and quality of life continue to improve, many children's diseases will also occur. Experts have found that among children's gastritis diseases, children with chronic superficial gastritis account for almost 50%. Chronic gastritis has also become one of the digestive system diseases that endanger the health of babies. Children's gastritis cannot be ignored. For the health of the baby, how to effectively treat children's gastritis.

Many children seek medical treatment due to recurrent abdominal pain (duration of more than 2 months). Patients often feel discomfort and pain in the upper abdomen or navel. The pain is dull or paroxysmal. The attack may affect appetite. There is no acid reflux or fever, and the bowel movements are normal. These children with recurrent abdominal pain often have bad eating habits, such as liking to eat cold food and cold drinks regardless of spring, summer, autumn or winter, being picky eaters or eating large amounts of indigestible food, and eating little or no vegetables and fruits. Long-term unreasonable eating can stimulate increased secretion of gastric juice. Excessive cold food and cold drinks can stimulate the contraction of blood vessels under the gastric mucosa and thinning of the mucosal layer, which will reduce the defense ability of the gastric and duodenal mucosa, leading to mucosal edema and erosion, forming gastritis, and then developing into gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Children with chronic gastritis are often accompanied by Helicobacter pylori infection. This is because children have irregular diets and eat large amounts of raw and cold food, which reduces the resistance of the gastric mucosa, making it easy for Helicobacter pylori to invade the gastric mucosa and cause gastritis, which then spreads to the duodenum and leads to duodenal ulcers.

There are many only children in my country. Parents' excessive doting and pampering of their children, coupled with their lack of knowledge of food hygiene, have caused children to develop bad eating habits, greatly increasing the incidence of gastritis in children. Therefore, it is extremely important to prevent gastritis in children. The main measure is to help children develop good eating habits, reduce or avoid gastritis, and enable children to grow up healthily.

For children, gastritis needs to be cured as soon as possible, otherwise it will develop into chronic gastritis, which will cause great harm to the human body. Never ignore the occurrence of gastritis in children. If the stomach is unhealthy, the digestive system will also be seriously threatened. Only after the gastrointestinal system is well maintained, can children eat well and grow up healthily.
