How to regulate children's spleen and stomach

In fact, children usually run and jump, and their gastrointestinal digestion is the best. However, some children's health is not so good, so they will naturally have some sports problems. For example, many children often have weak spleen and stomach or insufficient yang, frequent diarrhea, and loose stools. How to regulate children's stomachs is a concern of many parents, but you cannot use medication unilaterally, but you must pay attention to adjustment through multiple aspects.

What to do if your spleen and stomach are weak

Weak spleen and stomach is a concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In layman's terms, it means insufficient spleen and stomach function, dysfunction of the spleen and stomach's reception, digestion, transfer, and transportation, which affects the digestion and absorption of food.

Patients with weak spleen and stomach can be treated from the following aspects:

Take medication appropriately

In traditional Chinese medicine, spleen and stomach weakness is mainly divided into three types: spleen and stomach qi deficiency, spleen yang deficiency, and stomach yin deficiency. People with spleen and stomach qi deficiency often suffer from shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, bloating, stomach pain, hiccups, poor appetite, bloating after meals, loose stools, and sallow complexion. They can take Shenling Baizhu Powder and Xiangsha Yangwei Pills. The main manifestations of spleen yang deficiency are cold pain in the stomach and abdomen. Eating raw, cold and greasy food will cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, and loose stools. You can use Fuzi Lizhong Pills. The main manifestations of gastric yin deficiency are virtual fire ascending, dry mouth, easy hunger, stomach acid, dull pain and discomfort, mouth ulcers, etc. You can take Shenmei Yangwei Granules.

Pay attention to diet

A reasonable dietary structure is the basis of health and the prerequisite for "stomach protection". The diet should be regular, with three meals at regular times and in fixed quantities, and no overeating; eat more easily digestible foods, such as porridge; eat less irritating and difficult-to-digest foods, such as spicy and sour, fried, dry, hard and sticky foods, and try to eat less raw and cold foods. Common foods that strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, such as japonica rice, coix seed, white lentil, and jujube, can be eaten frequently by people with weak spleen and stomach. Patients with weak spleen and stomach can also choose simple and practical medicinal diet--

Carrot Rice Porridge: 100 grams of rice, 50 grams of carrots. Add carrots after the rice is cooked into porridge. Eat it after it is cooked through. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen and warming the stomach.

Glutinous rice and wheat porridge: 50 grams of glutinous rice, 60 grams of wheat kernels. Add appropriate amount of sugar after cooking into porridge, season and drink. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen and replenishing the qi.

Gorgon fruit and Poria cocos porridge: 15 grams of Gorgon fruit, 10 grams of Poria cocos, and appropriate amount of rice. Put the first two ingredients into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, cook until soft, then add appropriate amount of rice, continue to cook into porridge, and take in divided meals. Gorgon fruit and Poria cocos porridge has the effects of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, astringing the intestines and stopping diarrhea.

Maintain proper physical exercise

Appropriate physical exercise can enhance the gastrointestinal function of the human body, strengthen gastrointestinal motility, increase the secretion of digestive juices, promote food digestion and absorption of nutrients, and improve the blood circulation of the gastrointestinal tract itself, promote metabolism, and delay the aging of the digestive system.

Massage the soles of your feet 40 to 80 times in a clockwise direction every day, focusing on the second toe. This is good for relieving stomach pain and nourishing the stomach.
