What to do if your child has stomachache

The stomach is an important digestive and absorption system of the human body. It plays an important role in the overall function of the human body. Once there is a problem with the stomach system, it will affect physical health. Children are in the stage of physical health development and are prone to diseases, so they are also prone to various stomach problems, among which stomach pain is a very common one. What to do if children have stomachache? This is also a headache for parents. So what are some ways to relieve stomach pain in children?

First, determine whether the child's abdominal pain is in the epigastric area. If so, there may be some problems with the stomach. There are many reasons, but the most common ones should be superficial gastritis, gastric ulcer, functional abdominal pain, parasites, etc. Gastroscopy is slightly painful, so you can check the electrogastrogram first and then have a gastroscopy if necessary. I recommend a few methods that you can try first. First, you can take an anthelmintic orally, such as two tablets of Enterococcus Qing, and take them all at once before going to bed at night. There are also some medicines to regulate the gastrointestinal tract, such as Chinese medicine or Western medicine. You can also take large hawthorn pills orally for a few days.

Considering it is gastritis, treating gastritis and eating a healthy diet are the first measures to treat stomach problems.

1. First of all, you must develop good eating habits. Eat three meals a day at regular times and in regular amounts. Do not overeat or eat before going to bed.

2. Eat more protein-rich foods, eat less irritating foods, and avoid damage to the stomach caused by tobacco, alcohol, raw and cold foods, etc.

3. Adjust your work rhythm and ensure adequate sleep to relieve work pressure. Relax and keep a peaceful mind.

Drug treatment of superficial gastritis:

1. Omeprazole 20 mg 1/day, acid-resistant and anti-Helicobacter pylori;

2. Magnesium aluminum carbonate (Videmi) has a good antacid effect, treats heartburn and stomach burning sensation, has a fast and lasting effect, and is beneficial to mucosal repair. 1.0 (2 tablets) 3 times a day, 1 hour after meals.

3. Take 10 mg of Metoclopramide 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Or mosapride (Belona 5mmg 3 times a day) can increase gastric motility.

Stomach pain in children is a very common problem. It may be caused by eating bad food, catching a cold, or a poor stomach digestive system leading to indigestion and bloating. Therefore, when it comes to the question of what to do when children have stomach pain, we must first understand the cause, and then combine the above suggestions for relevant treatment. We must not rush to seek medical treatment.
