The symptoms of mycoplasma infection in children are no different from those in adults, and are also mostly found near the genitals and in the throat, mouth and other parts. However, since children have relatively weaker immune resistance than adults, the symptoms of mycoplasma infection will be more intense and obvious. For example, when the disease occurs in the throat, adults may have difficulty speaking, but children may experience more severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing.

1. First of all, we all know that the clinical manifestations of mycoplasma infection in children are actually not much different from those in adults. The incubation period of mycoplasma infection in children ranges from a few weeks to several years, but most cases are between 3 months. According to medical data, the younger the age of mycoplasma infection, the longer the HPV carrier will be. The symptoms of mycoplasma infection in children mainly occur in the vulva, urethral orifice, vaginal orifice, foreskin and perianal area. The site of mycoplasma infection in male children is usually around the anus.

2. Mycoplasma infection in children is also common in the throat and mouth, especially in infants under 3 years old, mycoplasma infection almost always occurs in the throat. It mainly occurs in the vocal cords, glottis, laryngeal ventricle and other locations. Other sites where mycoplasma infection may occur include the gums, frenulum, upper lip, palatoglossal arch, labia majora and minora, urethral orifice, foreskin, and perineum. In addition to the above-mentioned parts, mycoplasma infection in children may also occur in the navel, buttocks, groin, thighs, neck, ears, hands and feet. In other words, there is no fixed site of infection for mycoplasma infection in children.

3. The characteristics of mycoplasma infection in children are similar to those in adults. It's just that other symptoms of mycoplasma infection in children are more obvious than those in adults, and they are more likely to develop secondary bacterial infections. Moreover, when mycoplasma infection occurs in the throat of children, it will cause serious symptoms, such as difficulty breathing and hoarseness. If the situation is serious, the consequences will be disastrous.
