The product is mainly aimed at patients with abnormal sputum secretion or poor sputum discharge function, and acute respiratory tract infections. Now there are more and more patients with chronic bronchitis and asthmatic bronchitis, so some medicines come in handy, and some medicines need to be carried by patients all year round. The groups suffering from the disease are different, including children and adults. What is the dosage for children?

Pharmacokinetics

The half-life is 7-12 hours, no accumulation is found, it is mainly metabolized by the liver, and 90% is cleared by the kidneys.

Indications

It is suitable for acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by abnormal sputum secretion and poor expectoration function, such as acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, expectorant treatment of asthmatic bronchitis and bronchial asthma;

Preventive treatment of postoperative pulmonary complications; treatment of infant respiratory distress syndrome (IRDS) in premature infants and newborns.

Dosage

Prevention and treatment:

Adults and children over 12 years old: 2-3 times a day, 15 mg each time, slow intravenous drip. In severe cases, the dose can be increased to 30 mg each time.

Children 6-12 years old: 15 mg each time, 2-3 times a day, by slow intravenous drip.

Children 2-6 years old: 7.5 mg 3 times a day, by slow intravenous drip.

Children under 2 years old: 7.5 mg twice a day, slowly intravenously.

Treatment of Infant Respiratory Distress Syndrome (IRDS):

The total daily dosage is 30 mg/kg calculated based on the infant's body weight, administered in 4 divided doses by slow intravenous drip.
