What causes pneumonia in babies?

There are many manifestations of baby pneumonia. When a child has a long-term cough, fever and shows very uncomfortable symptoms, he may have pneumonia. So what exactly causes the baby's pneumonia is the most concerned issue for our mothers or fathers. When the baby shows symptoms of pneumonia, it is best to go to the hospital for medical treatment in time. So what exactly causes baby pneumonia? Let us learn about some of the causes of baby pneumonia.

reason:

1. The systemic symptoms of bronchitis are relatively mild, and there is generally no dyspnea or hypoxia. Dry rales and medium-coarse moist rales can be heard in the lungs. They are not fixed and often disappear with coughing or changes in body position.

2. Children with acute miliary tuberculosis who develop the disease suddenly are often accompanied by high fever, chills, general malaise, shortness of breath, cyanosis and other systemic poisoning symptoms, which are very similar to bronchitis, but there are often no obvious signs in the lungs, or there are fine moist rales scattered in both lungs, which are mostly found at the end of inspiration. The X-ray manifestations are also similar to those of bronchopneumonia. The diagnosis can be made based on the history of contact with tuberculosis, clinical symptoms, positive tuberculin test, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, detection of tuberculosis bacteria in sputum or gastric lavage fluid, and follow-up observations of X-rays.

3. Caseous pneumonia This type of lesion mostly occurs in weak or weak-resistance children. X-rays show dense consolidation in a lung segment or even most of a lobe of the lung, with blurred outlines. Usually, relatively translucent liquefied areas and even translucent cavities can be seen. Combined with medical history, tuberculin test, etc., it is easy to differentiate from bronchopneumonia.

4. Bronchial foreign body, history of foreign body inhalation, or history of choking and coughing. The clinical severity varies, and the course of the disease varies. Patients with a prolonged course of the disease and secondary infection may have repeated fever and cough, and moist rales may be heard in the lungs, similar to pneumonia. Sometimes tracheal clacking sounds heard by auscultation can help with the diagnosis, but the definitive diagnosis depends on fiberoptic bronchoscopy.

Note: Avoid: Babies who are suffering from high fever and dehydration should avoid high-protein diets, such as meat, chicken, and fish, because if they consume more protein, more urea will be excreted, which will take away more water from the body. Spicy food should also be avoided as it can easily generate heat and damage body fluids. Eating too much sugar will inhibit the bactericidal function of white blood cells in the body, so don't eat too much sugar or eat too sweet foods. Do not eat raw, cold and acidic foods.

After the baby shows symptoms of pneumonia, it is generally recommended to seek medical attention in time and listen to the doctor's advice. In addition, the diet should be as light as possible, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Secondly, drink more warm boiled water. If the baby is still drinking milk powder, it is best to dilute the milk powder before giving it to the baby. Finally, pay attention to let the baby breathe fresh air more.
