What kind of water is good for bathing babies?

Babies are a stage of growth that naturally attracts people's attention. At this time, babies cannot speak, bathe, or move by themselves, so everything about the baby is given by their parents. They arrange a good life for the baby and bathe the baby. However, many people are afraid of choosing unreasonable water when bathing their children, and they don't know whether it is better to use warm water or warm water. So what kind of water is good for bathing babies?

It is best to use boiled water and let it cool to a temperature suitable for bathing your baby, such as 36-37 degrees.

How to bathe a newborn baby

1. Embracing bathing method: wash the face and head first, then wash the trunk and limbs, and finally wash the buttocks. When washing the baby's head and face, the baby's head should be facing forward, and parents should support the baby's shoulders and back with their left forearms, hold the child's buttocks with the left armpit, hold the baby's head with their left hand, and use their thumbs and middle fingers to block the baby's ears from behind to prevent water from entering. Use your right hand to wash your baby's face first (no shower gel is needed), then wash his hair and dry it. Then start washing the trunk, limbs and buttocks. The elbows, armpits, neck and thighs should be cleaned especially.

2. Basin bathing method: Soak the gauze in the bathtub, wring it dry and use it to wipe the face, then take off the clothes, and use the changed diapers or clothes to wipe the buttocks clean; hold the baby's body with a towel, support the armpits with one hand, support the head with the elbow, and support the feet with the other hand, and gently put it into the basin. Make sure to put the buttocks into the water first, let the child half sit in the bathtub, but be careful not to get the navel wet.

When washing, start from the neck and then move to the hands and feet. When washing your baby's back, support the front of the body with one hand, turn the baby over, and wash from the back to the buttocks. Use a baby shower gel that is more oily and less alkaline. Apply the shower gel on a bath towel and then rub it on the baby's body. After washing your whole body, wash off the foam with clean water and gauze.

The temperature of the water should be moderate when bathing the baby. If the water is too hot, it may burn the baby's delicate skin; if the water is too cold, the baby may catch a cold easily.

Medically, the recommended water temperature is around 37℃-40℃, but sensing the water temperature with just the hands of adults is very inaccurate.

When using:

1Please put hot water first and then the thermometer;

2. Stir the hot water before measuring;

3. After use, please shake off the water and dry in a cool place;

4. Please note that the thermometer may malfunction if it is dropped on the ground or used carelessly.

When bathing:

1Before putting the baby in the bathtub, be sure to check the temperature with your hand;

2. The recommended hot water temperature is 38℃ in summer and 40-42℃ in winter;

3. The indoor temperature is best between 20℃ and 23℃, especially in the cold winter.

4. Avoid bathing your baby for a long time to prevent him from getting tired. Take your baby out of the bath after 5 to 7 minutes.

5. Avoid bathing your baby one hour before and after breastfeeding.

Notice:

Please confirm before use. If the following situations occur, please stop using it immediately:

The red temperature-sensitive liquid is broken;

The temperature before use indicates that it is different from the room temperature;

The glass tube is broken and the liquid is leaking out.

There will not be any bacteria in such boiled water, so choosing such water when bathing the child will not harm the child at all. If the child takes a bath in summer, you can also add some honeysuckle dew to bathe the child.
