How to treat intrahepatic bile duct stones in children?

I believe many people are familiar with the disease of gallstones. If an adult suffers from this disease, as long as they cooperate with the treatment, the treatment effect is very good, because adults have better resistance. If a child suffers from this disease, I believe many parents will be anxious. Next, let us understand what symptoms children will have after suffering from this disease?

Gallstones are a common disease of the biliary system and are a general term for gallbladder stones and bile duct stones (which are divided into intrahepatic and extrahepatic). Prevention of gallstones should be the main approach, and treatment should be given immediately after the onset of the disease. Generally, there are two types of treatment: non-surgical and surgical. Gallstones are clots formed within the biliary tree (including the gallbladder) and are one of the most common digestive system diseases in clinical practice.

The main clinical manifestations include paroxysmal abdominal pain and acute inflammation. If the stones enter the common bile duct, the following complications may occur: jaundice, cholangitis and pancreatitis, etc.; but most patients may not have any symptoms. People who love to eat sweets are prone to gallstones, which is the cause of gallbladder cancer. Long-term inflammation of the gallbladder and stimulation by bile acid and bile alkali in gallstones can easily cause the gallbladder mucosa to become cancerous.

Dietary regulation is the most ideal preventive method to prevent cholelithiasis and gallbladder cancer. To prevent gallstones, you should pay attention to dietary adjustment and have a variety of meals. In addition, raw, cold, greasy, high-protein, irritating foods and strong liquor can easily promote moisture and heat, causing bile stasis, so they should be eaten less. The treatment methods include drug lithotripsy and surgical treatment. It is recommended to receive treatment as soon as possible under the guidance of a professional doctor.

When gallstones are discovered, they must be treated as soon as possible. Otherwise, when the stones block the cystic duct or common bile duct, it can cause acute biliary colic, accompanied by high fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, and may even develop into gallbladder cancer due to complications from other diseases. According to relevant reports from home and abroad, more than 96% of gallbladder cancer patients have gallstones!

Or after contracting this disease, once parents find some of the above symptoms, they must take their children to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible, otherwise the disease will be delayed and treatment will be more difficult. Secondly, the child’s diet must be light, as irritating food may also cause the occurrence of this disease.
