How to eat egg yolk for 6-month-old baby

The arrival of a new life brings infinite joy to the whole family. Parents are important figures involved in the growth of this life. Parents hope to give their children the best and not let their children lose at the starting line. Six-month-old babies have been adding complementary foods for a while. Egg yolks are foods with high nutritional content. Many people with high blood lipids and high blood pressure are not allowed to eat egg yolks. So, can six-month-old babies eat egg yolks? How should they eat egg yolks? Let’s talk about these issues below.

Starting from four months old, babies can start by eating a small amount of egg yolk and gradually increase to a whole egg yolk. Egg yolk is a food with extremely high nutritional value, but when many families prepare egg yolks for their babies, they simply boil them in water, peel them, and mash them into a paste. However, no matter how fine the paste is, the baby cannot digest it at all, and there are obvious particles in the stool.

Add a small amount of water to a milk pan. Add as many milliliters of water as the baby drinks at a time. Beat the eggs into a bowl, then use a spoon to scoop out the egg yolk. Due to the viscosity of the egg white, it is not possible to completely remove the egg white hanging on the yolk at this time. Put the egg yolk into a milk pan with water, and cut the membrane outside the egg yolk. Don’t underestimate this transparent film, because it is because of this film that the baby cannot digest it.

After cutting the egg yolk, the egg yolk liquid will flow out. Then rinse the egg yolk membrane in water and scoop it out with a spoon. If there is any remaining egg white in the water, it will clearly appear as transparent clumps or strips and will be easy to remove. Then you can turn on the fire to cook the egg yolks, stirring while cooking, until the water boils. At this time, the milk pan will be filled with golden egg yolk water.

Pour the cooked egg yolk water into the bottle, mix it with milk powder and shake well, then you can feed your baby. Of course, you can also feed it alone. When the baby is seven or eight months old, you can no longer use this method to pick out the egg yolk membrane. By then, the baby's gastrointestinal and digestive functions will be enhanced, and the baby can basically digest the eggs no matter how they are cooked.

Although children have added complementary foods, they should not be fed in excess and should still rely mainly on milk. However, children's immunity is still very low. It is best to add some colostrum or the like to improve their immunity. You can also make some vegetable porridge for your baby, take your baby for more outdoor sports, let him get more sun, take your baby for regular physical examinations, and if there is a lack of some trace elements, supplement them in time. Parents should interact more with their babies and teach them to speak.
