Why do children love to cry?

Children like to cry because they will get what they want when they cry. This is what we adults think about children's love of crying, but in fact it is not like this. Not all children cry because they are acting like a spoiled child. Some children cry because they are really uncomfortable. So, why do children cry so often?

reason:

⒈Overcare. Parents often over-take every aspect of their children's lives, taking care of everything for them and doing everything for them, which causes children to develop the habit of "stretching out their hands for clothes and opening their mouths for food" from an early age. Once he leaves his parents and loses their careful care, he will be at a loss.

⒉Psychological neglect. Generally speaking, children are emotionally dependent on their mothers. When this normal psychological need of a child is intentionally or unintentionally ignored or rudely rejected by his parents, his process of development from normal dependence to independence will be affected, independence cannot be established, and over-dependence will follow.

Performance:

Younger children may be able to walk independently but prefer to be held by their mothers. When standing, they snuggle up to their mothers and are unwilling to play with other children. If his mother leaves for a while, he will cry and make a fuss.

Older children tend to have no opinions of their own and lack self-confidence. They always feel that they are not capable enough and want to rely on others when encountering things. For example, they rely on their parents' arrangements in life and on teachers and other children's help in study. If the person he depends on is not around, he is prone to anxiety and depression.

Countermeasures:

⒈Change the parenting method. Parents should change their bad parenting methods, train and cultivate their children's independence and autonomy, and let them practice on their own. Let children eat and dress themselves as much as possible. As for some housework within their ability, including washing their own handkerchiefs and socks, and tidying their own clothes and making their beds, avoid taking over. Just give them help and encouragement in time. In addition, children should be allowed to enter nurseries or kindergartens at an appropriate age to develop their self-care abilities and social adaptability in collective life.

⒉ Actively reinforce correction. Let your child do things that can enhance his independence and require less help from others. When he can complete it independently, give him encouragement or rewards. All correction methods must be persisted until the child’s dependent behavior is completely corrected.

Some children cry because they want to get what they want, but some children cry because they are not feeling well. Parents must pay attention to distinguish the reasons why children are crying, so that we can know whether the children are sick.
