Diet therapy for tracheitis in children

Tracheitis in children mostly occurs secondary to respiratory tract infection or is a clinical symptom of some acute respiratory infectious diseases. In addition to drug treatment for childhood bronchitis, parents can also use diet therapy as an auxiliary treatment, which is not only beneficial to the child's illness, but also provides the child with adequate nutrition. Generally, children suffering from bronchitis can eat more porridge or drink rock sugar and pear water, which are helpful for improving children's bronchitis.

Diet therapy for bronchitis in children:

1. Lily porridge: 20 grams of fresh lily, 50 grams of glutinous rice, cook porridge together, and add rock sugar to taste. Strengthens the spleen and lungs, relieves cough and asthma.

2. Mustard greens porridge: chop the mustard greens into appropriate amounts and add 50 grams of glutinous rice, then cook into porridge. Warming and resolving phlegm and fluid.

3. Almond porridge: peel and tip 20 almonds, add 50 grams of glutinous rice, and cook into porridge.

4. Pear porridge: remove the cores of 3 duck pears, slice them and extract the juice. Cook 50 grams of polished rice into porridge, add pear juice when it is cooked and mix well. Clears the heart and moistens the lungs, relieves cough and relieves restlessness.

5. Yam soup: Cook 200 grams of yam and mash it, fry 250 grams of corn and grind it into powder, peel and fry 500 grams of almonds and grind them into powder. Every morning, use boiling water to brew 10 grams of corn and almond powder, add appropriate amount of yam paste, and stir in sesame oil before taking. It replenishes Qi and strengthens deficiency, warms the middle and moistens the lungs. It is used for children with long-term cough or recurrent cough.

6. Chuanbei Pear: 5 grams of Chuanbei, 1 raw pear, and appropriate amount of rock sugar. First, cut off the head of the pear, hollow out the pear core, add rock sugar and Fritillaria cirrhosa, then cover the pear head and secure with toothpicks. Put them in a bowl and steam them together, then take the pear and juice together. It is suitable for people who have just started coughing and have a lot of phlegm.

7. Sanxian Drink: 250 grams of raw radish, 250 grams of fresh lotus root, and 2 pears. Chop and squeeze juice and add appropriate amount of honey. Those with hot cough can take it raw. Those with cold cough can add a few slices of ginger to the juice and steam it before taking.

The dietary therapy for pediatric bronchitis is introduced. During the child's illness, attention should be paid to the child's diet and the nutritional balance of vegetables and fruits should be ensured. Do not eat it if it is fried in raw or cold oil. Pay attention to air circulation, disinfection, drink plenty of water, and increase your own resistance.
