When will the child speak?

Many mothers start planning their children's future when they become pregnant. For example, when the child will talk, crawl, walk, and run are all in the parents' plans. But the reality is not as planned. Every child starts talking at a different time. Some children develop slowly and may not be able to speak until they are three years old. Therefore, parents should be careful not to deliberately make demands on their children.

A one-year-old child can say two stressed words in a row, such as Dengdeng, Dongdong, and Guoguo. Later, he will be able to say words consisting of 2-3 characters, such as TV, towel, and sandal straps. When you want something, you point and say its name.

At the age of one and a half, he can speak single words consisting of 2-3 words such as "eat" and "drink water"; sometimes he speaks "nonsense" like "Mom, hold me". At this time, the child can understand simple sentences and many words, but cannot speak them.

Between 1 and a half and 2 years old, children can correctly say simple sentences, such as "Mom goes to work"; and ask questions using a few simple words, such as "Where is the apple?", "What is this?". Will use "no" or "don't" to express refusal. Be able to name a painting.

1-2 years old is an important period for children's language development. The development of language is related to the environment and the people one comes into contact with. If the environment is monotonous and the person taking care of the child is taciturn, the child's language development is bound to be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, parents should provide a good language environment for their baby during this period and communicate with him as much as possible. Don't be afraid of being long-winded and don't worry that your children won't understand.

A child’s growth and development has a lot to do with his or her parents’ education and his or her own growth environment. When a child learns to speak is not only related to the child's physical fitness and brain development, but also to the company of his parents. If you really want your child to speak earlier, parents can spend more time talking to their children, which can also stimulate their interest in speaking.
