Melanin deposition on the child's face

Melanin deposition on the child's face

The healthy growth of children is always on the minds of parents. Once they find that their children are feeling a little uncomfortable, parents will feel more uncomfortable than the children themselves. However, if a child has melanin on his face, although it looks ugly, there is no need to worry too much as long as it does not endanger the baby's health. If these dark spots are pathological, parents should take their children to the hospital for treatment in time.

Factors that cause black birthmarks on baby’s face: severe deficiency of trace elements such as zinc, copper, calcium, magnesium, and phenylalanine and tyrosine in human serum. Patients with birthmarks should eat more foods such as soybeans, mushrooms, and whole grains, and less alcohol, mutton, beef, seafood and other foods. Frequent irritation of the affected area is also an important factor in the occurrence and development of black birthmarks in babies.

The formation mechanism of black birthmarks on baby's face: Melanin is produced by melanocytes and is the main factor causing skin color changes. The production of eumelanin depends on the supply of tyrosine and oxygen, the activity of tyrosinase, and the number of melanosomes produced.

The biochemical process of the formation of black birthmarks on the baby's face: the influence of ultraviolet rays on melanin metabolism: the physiological activity of tyrosinase mainly depends on the energy of electromagnetic waves. Generally speaking, ultraviolet rays can activate melanocytes, which manifests as an increase in melanocytes per unit area, vigorous melanin production and accelerated movement. Therefore, ultraviolet rays are the driving force for melanocytes to produce melanin. However, the response of melanocytes to UV rays should vary with wavelength, promoting the production of melanosomes.

Once a black birthmark exists on a baby's face, it rarely disappears naturally. Black birthmarks can have different pigments such as brown or black. Most of them are small dot-shaped moles, and rarely appear in large areas. Most pigmented moles are benign and there is no need to worry too much. However, a very small number of babies' black birthmarks can turn into malignant melanoma, especially when a large area of black spots is found on the face, which requires attention.

Although there are many treatments for black birthmarks in China now, they often have some disadvantages and cannot provide good treatment for patients with black birthmarks. Therefore, if we want to treat black birthmarks, we must choose the correct treatment method.

Warm reminder: Parents should pay more attention to their children's situation in life to avoid affecting their children's healthy growth in the future. If any physical discomfort is found, it must be diagnosed and treated in time.
