Why does the child's leg hurt?

Children will always experience physical pain during their development, one of which is called "growing pains." Especially children's calf pain. Parents should be careful not to think that it is just simple growing pains. It could be troublesome if it involves bone dysplasia. Therefore, parents and friends must accumulate relevant knowledge, observe and ask more questions during the growth of their children, and prevent children from developing serious illnesses that cannot be treated in time.

"Growing pains" refer to pain around the knee joint or the front of the calf in children. There is no history of trauma to these areas, the activities are normal, and there is no redness, swelling or tenderness in the local tissues. After the examination, the possibility that the child had other diseases was ruled out, and it could be considered as "growing pains". Growing pains occur mostly because children are relatively active, their long bones grow quickly, and this is not coordinated with the growth and development of local muscles and tendons, leading to physiological pain.

The pathological causes are: 1. Rapid bone growth. Children's bones grow rapidly, while the nerves, tendons, and muscles around the long bones of the limbs grow relatively slowly, thus causing traction pain. 2. Accumulation of metabolic products, excessive activity, or excessive metabolic products in developing tissues cause accumulation of acidic metabolic products, thus causing muscle soreness. 3 Tibial inward curvature When learning to walk, the tibia of the lower leg is more bent, and the human body compensates by causing a certain degree of knee valgus. As their bodies grow, some young children do not receive timely correction. In order to maintain joint stability, their leg muscles are often kept tense, causing pain.

After the above introduction, do you know more about the causes of calf pain in children? Being a good father or mother depends on daily care and greetings. Of course, if your child is still a left-behind child, you should show concern for the child when you visit him/her to see if he/she is healthy and happy. No matter where you are, give your children a healthy body.
