How to treat mumps in an 8-year-old child?

6. Mix borneol powder with half a spoon of cold rice soup and apply it 2 to 4 times a day for 1 to 3 days.

7. Mix 5 to 10 Liushen Pills with vinegar or white wine and apply twice a day for 2 to 4 days.

8. Mix Phellodendron chinense powder and gypsum in a ratio of 3:7, add vinegar or wine and apply once a day for 2 to 3 days.

9. Collect branches of elm, peach, willow, mulberry and locust trees when they sprout in spring, mix them and boil them twice. Concentrate the two decoctions into a paste and apply it topically once a day for 3 to 4 days.

10. Mash 50-70 red beans into powder, add warm water, egg white or honey to make a paste, spread on a cloth and apply to the affected area 1-2 times a day for 2-4 days.

11. Take 30-60g of fresh yarrow, mash it 2-3 times to extract the juice and take it orally with cold boiled water. Add a little salt to the residue and apply it to the affected area.

12. Grind 50g of alum, 45g of realgar, and 3-5g of borneol into fine powder, seal it for storage. Take 3-5g of it and mix it with 75% alcohol and apply it to the affected area, 2-3 times a day, for 1-3 days.

13. Soak gauze with vinegar and apply it to the affected area for 30 minutes to 1 hour, twice a day for 2 to 3 days.

14. Wash and mash fresh Houttuynia cordata with its roots and apply to the affected area twice a day for 2 to 4 days.

This type of mumps will also become purulent, and the pus can be squeezed out after a certain period of time, which will heal faster.
