Eight-month-old baby has snoring

Many parents will observe that their children at this age often snore when they sleep. Logically, snoring mainly occurs in people with rhinitis, respiratory system problems or adults. Children rarely snore, but some children do. You need to check if the child has phlegm in the throat, or if his throat has been inflamed recently and the phlegm has not been spit out. Natural snoring can be relieved by these methods.

One-year-old baby has phlegm in his throat and snores

1. The method of sputum clearing. In between coughing, let your baby lie on his side or hold him in a side-lying position. The parent slightly bends the five fingers of one hand, makes a fist, and gently pats the baby's chest, sides and back. Pat your left side and lie on your left side, alternating between the two sides. The force of the slapping should not be too great, and it should be done from top to bottom and from outside to inside, in sequence. Pat each side for at least 3-5 minutes, 2-3 times a day. The back-patting method can not only loosen the phlegm in the baby's lungs and bronchi, drain it into the trachea and discharge it, but also promote blood circulation in the heart and lungs, which is beneficial to the absorption of bronchial inflammation.

2. Drinking water method. Coughing can easily cause dehydration in the throat and airways. If you don't replenish water in time, it will aggravate respiratory inflammation and the thickness of secretions, making it difficult to cough out. Let your baby drink more warm water, which has a good moisturizing and physical therapeutic effect on the throat. It can also dilute the viscous secretions and make them easier to cough up, which is beneficial for relieving cough and expectoration, and is beneficial for eliminating local inflammation. At the same time, it can improve blood circulation and quickly excrete waste or toxins produced by the body's metabolism from the urine, thereby reducing irritation to the respiratory tract.

3. Indoor ventilation. To keep the air in the room fresh, open the windows regularly for ventilation. It is best to keep the indoor temperature at 18-22 degrees, but be careful not to let the cold wind blow directly on the baby. Use a humidifier to keep the indoor relative humidity at 60%-65%, which helps keep the respiratory mucosa moist and the cilia on the mucosal surface moving, which helps with sputum discharge.

4. Steam method. Pour boiling water into a large pot or teacup, hold your baby, and let his mouth and nose face the rising steam and inhale and exhale. This can thin the phlegm and facilitate coughing out. It can also reduce congestion and edema of the trachea and bronchial mucosa and reduce coughing. But be careful to avoid burns and accidents.

5. If the baby has repeated coughs and sputum and the condition does not improve, parents should pay attention. When treating children's cough and sputum, it is necessary to find the root cause. In addition to treating the symptoms such as expectoration and cough relief, more attention should be paid to clearing away heat and detoxification, eliminating the root cause of the disease, and treating both the symptoms and the root cause. Children's hospitals often prescribe the Xiaokuihua Children's Lung Heat Cough and Asthma Oral Liquid, which is a pure Chinese herbal preparation. Its ingredients include ephedra that clears the lungs and dispels evil, while apricot kernel that descends qi and resolves phlegm. The two medicines are used together.

Enhance cough suppressant effect! Active ingredients such as honeysuckle and isatis root have broad-spectrum antiviral effects and can also relieve other symptoms of respiratory infections. At the same time, the oral liquid dosage form can directly cover the pharynx and other respiratory tracts, and is easier for babies to absorb and has better effects. It is a medicine used in many children's hospitals, so parents can give it to their babies with confidence.
