Treatment of red spots in newborns

Summer is coming soon, and many newborns will always have eczema, which is itchy and painful, causing the children to cry and be restless. At this time, parents cannot get enough rest. How can they have enough milk to feed their babies without a good rest! In the following article, let’s learn about red spots on newborns and how we should generally treat the symptoms that appear!

Infant eczema, commonly known as "milk ringworm", is a common skin inflammation in infancy and young children. If you find that your baby has a red rash or erythema on his skin, or is accompanied by discharge, erosion, scabs, itching, etc., it is very likely that he has infant eczema. Babies with eczema often become irritable and restless due to itching, crying at night and affecting their sleep, and often scratching with their hands leads to bacterial skin infections. Is that so? However, many children suffer from eczema in a month. My child is one of them. Some children will get rid of it on their own soon, while others will get more and more severe. Those in serious condition will have eczema all over their heads and hands!

Precautions for infant eczema: (1) If it is a milk allergy, boil the milk several times to change its composition structure, reduce allergenic factors, add less sugar to the milk, or try other milk substitutes; (2) If it is an allergy to certain foods, start with a small amount and then slowly increase the amount so that the child can gradually adapt. When eating eggs, try to eat only the egg yolk and not the egg white. If necessary, you can choose plant protein foods; (3) The food should be rich in vitamins, inorganic salts and water, with appropriate amounts of sugar and fat, and eat less salt to avoid excessive fluid accumulation in the body; (4) If a breastfed child develops eczema, the mother should stop eating foods that cause allergies.

(5) In daily care, please note: Try not to use soaps with strong alkaline properties. Do not use any cosmetics except facial oil suitable for babies; (6) Do not wear chemical fiber or wool clothing. Wear soft, light-colored cotton cloth instead. Clothes should be loose and not too long; (7) To avoid scratching the skin and causing infection, wrap your hands loosely with a soft cloth, but observe carefully to prevent the thread from getting entangled with your fingers; (8) For scabs on the scalp and eyebrows, apply sterilized cooking oil and gently scrub them the next day; (9) Do not get vaccinated when eczema breaks out to avoid adverse reactions.

In the above article, we learned that newborns have red spots. Generally speaking, babies need to go through a process of healing after birth. It is very common. Mothers just need to be careful not to let their children wear clothes that are prone to allergies and keep their children's skin dry.
