How to prevent seasonal dermatitis in children?

The winter solstice is the period of recurring seasonal dermatitis in children. Many mothers may not know what seasonal dermatitis is, nor do they understand the early symptoms of seasonal dermatitis. The editor has compiled some symptoms of seasonal dermatitis, hoping to be helpful for mothers who are caring for their babies. I also hope that through the editor’s introduction, you will have some understanding of the treatment and prevention of seasonal dermatitis.

Experts say that seasonal dermatitis is a type of dermatitis that recurs seasonally. It is a contact dermatitis caused by pollen. It occurs more frequently in spring and autumn and is more common in women. The clinical manifestations are sudden seasonal occurrences, with the rash mostly limited to the face and neck, manifested as mild erythema, edema, slightly raised or accompanied by a few rice-sized red papules; some manifest as erythema around the eyes or neck, with no obvious edema; some may also be eczema-like changes, mild lichenified rash, and sometimes bran-like scales. It is often accompanied by itching, which occurs repeatedly every year and may disappear on its own.

Symptoms of seasonal dermatitis include skin lesions mainly on the extensor side of the limbs, especially on the front of the calves. The rash initially presents as dense erythema, papules and papulovesicles ranging in size from a pinhead to a millet grain, often distributed symmetrically. The patient reported itching and burning sensations. Due to intense scratching, scratches, blood scabs and pigmentation are often caused. The severity of seasonal dermatitis symptoms is closely related to temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature, the greater the humidity, and the longer the illness lasts, the more serious the condition will be. When the weather turns cooler, skin lesions will quickly subside and heal.

The principle of seasonal dermatitis treatment is prevention first and early treatment. If the condition has lasted for more than two years, oral Chinese medicine can be combined to regulate the body's essence. Oral Chinese medicine also has its unique therapeutic effect in the treatment of seasonal dermatitis, and the effect is better.

To prevent seasonal dermatitis, you should also be careful not to eat irritating foods. When it comes to clothing, try to wear loose clothes and avoid clothes containing chemical fibers to avoid irritating the skin.

Dermatitis is very harmful to the human body. If it is not treated in time, it will bring a lot of pain to people. The editor reminds children who are suffering from dermatitis that they must go to a regular specialist hospital for treatment. However, mothers cannot do this because their momentary negligence will delay the best time for their children to treat dermatitis.
