What to do if your child's feet are itchy

What to do if your child's feet are itchy

There are many reasons for athlete's foot. It has no age limit and is contagious. If an adult suffers from athlete's foot, it is possible to infect their children. Although athlete's foot is not very harmful, it will still have a certain impact on the child's body. The treatment of the child after the disease is what parents are most concerned about. So, what should we do if children’s athlete’s foot is itchy? Let’s take a look below.

Take a pot of boiling hot water and add a little salt or ginger slices, which can have a good sterilization effect. After the water reaches room temperature, you can soak your feet for about 10-15 minutes at a time, and continue to add hot water to prevent cold air from invading your body. After soaking your feet, dry them and put on clean, breathable shoes and socks.

Children have foot ulcers.

1. Soak your feet in pepper and salt water: Put 10 grams of pepper and 20 grams of salt in water, boil it for a while, and when the temperature is not hot enough to burn your feet, you can soak your feet. Soak for 20 minutes every night. Soak for a week and you will be healed. The used pepper and salt water can be heated and used continuously the next day.

2. Alkali powder can treat athlete's foot: People's feet sweat a lot in summer, which makes them more likely to suffer from athlete's foot. Before going to bed at night, use a tablespoon of alkaline noodles (the same alkaline noodles used for steaming buns), dissolve it in warm water, and soak your feet in the alkaline water for about 20 minutes. For mild cases, do it two or three times, and for severe cases, do it four or five times.

3. Use vinegar to mix the vanishing cream into a paste and apply it to the affected area. Use it as soon as it is prepared. For mild cases, one application is enough, while for severe cases, 2 to 3 applications are enough to cure.

4. Pay attention to the cleanliness of your child's feet, keep the skin dry, wash them several times a day, change socks frequently, buy breathable shoes for your child, and avoid long-term strenuous exercise to prevent excessive sweating that aggravates athlete's foot.

5. Take light food as the staple food, eat more green vegetables, and eat less high-calorie food such as beef, mutton, hamburgers, chocolate, etc., to help children have a balanced diet.
