What should children pay attention to in their diet for pneumonia?

If a child suffers from pneumonia, parents will be very worried, because if it is not treated promptly and effectively, it will cause great harm to the child. Therefore, when parents find this situation, they must take the baby to the hospital for investigation in time. At the same time, they must also pay attention to some care skills in life, as well as diet and health care. The following will introduce to you the diet for children with pneumonia.

Due to high fever and rapid breathing, children consume much more water, so care should be taken to ensure adequate fluid intake (including milk, boiled water, sugar water, rice soup, vegetable juice and fruit juice, etc.). After the fever subsides, the child should be given semi-liquid food such as porridge, noodles, and egg custard, and the amount should be increased as the condition improves to ensure adequate nutrition. The nursing environment for pneumonia patients should be quiet, clean and comfortable.

The room should be ventilated frequently and the necessary air humidity should be maintained. Generally, the relative humidity should be around 55%, and a humidifier can be used. Cold air therapy can also be used for the child. The method is to wrap the child tightly with a quilt, put on a hat, leaving only the face exposed, turn on the air conditioner or window, or take the child to a cold room. The temperature should generally be between 5℃ and 10℃, and not lower than -5℃. After 5 to 10 minutes, the irritable child often falls asleep quietly, breathes evenly, and his face turns red. This can be extended to half to one hour, 2 to 3 times a day. If the wheezing and cramping do not improve, oxygen therapy may be required.

I hope that after the above introduction, parents will pay attention to these issues. If they find that their children are affected by pneumonia or other diseases, effective treatments must be taken to avoid these diseases as much as possible and the impact and harm they bring to us.
