Why is the baby's stool green and sticky?

My baby has always been breastfed. People say breastfeeding is a very happy thing, but at the same time there are many unpleasant things. Recently, my baby's stomach has been troubled. At first it was diarrhea, and then it was diarrhea, which became more and more serious. At the best time, the diarrhea was green, and there were some milk curds in it.

1. Breastfed babies have green stools. If the baby is feeding well and is in good general condition, you can answer "normal". The reason may be that the intestinal function of infants is not perfect. It is a temporary phenomenon and will improve as the baby grows up.

2. Some babies do not eat enough, and hunger will speed up intestinal peristalsis and cause green stools. Babies may cry and be restless due to hunger, which can be easily distinguished from the above situations. In this case, just increase the amount of milk and make sure the baby is full.

3. Catching a cold can also cause excessive intestinal peristalsis, which is one of the common causes of green stools. Green stools caused by this reason may also have symptoms similar to a cold. If you only have green stools, pay attention to keeping your abdomen warm, especially at night, and you will recover in a few days. If you have cold symptoms, you should also receive symptomatic treatment for the cold.

When the child's stool is not yellow or golden yellow, we should pay attention to whether the child has a bloated stomach or stomach pain. When the child's stool is green, do not delay and give the child timely treatment. When the child has diarrhea, be sure to give the child salt water to avoid dehydration.
