Mild autism in children

Mild autism in children

Mild childhood autism is also a type of autism. Childhood autism is a disease that is very difficult to cure. Children with autism often live in their own world and do not like to communicate with the outside world. Moreover, the intelligence of such children is generally low. People need to communicate more with such children so that they can recover as soon as possible. So how can mild autism in children be cured?

Autism, also known as childhood autism, is a developmental disorder. Autism generally occurs in boys and most of the time it begins in infancy. Most autistic children have language development disorders, interpersonal communication disorders, narrow interests, and stereotyped behaviors. So, as parents, how should we judge whether our children have mild autism? What are the symptoms of mild autism in children?

1. Social communication disorder

It is generally manifested in lack of communication or communication skills with others, lack of a secure attachment relationship with parents, etc.

2. Language communication barriers

Delayed language development, or regression after normal language development, or lack of communicative nature of language.

3. Repetitive Behavior

4. Intellectual abnormality

About 70% of autistic children have intellectual disabilities, but they may have strong abilities in certain areas. 20% have intelligence within the normal range, and about 10% have supernormal intelligence. Most children have good memory, especially in mechanical memory.

5. Abnormal sensation

It manifests as insensitivity to pain, special fear or preference for certain sounds or images, etc.

6. Other common behaviors

These include hyperactivity, distraction, temper tantrums, aggression, and self-injury. This type of behavior may be related to the fact that parents often use beating, scolding or punishment in their education.

For children with autism, the first thing to do is to make an autism treatment plan. This plan should be comprehensive and include the specific steps of the child's daily treatment. Create a stable, consistent treatment structure and actively help them participate. Teach him to learn normal behaviors to replace abnormal behaviors, and try to use encouragement. Material rewards may be needed at the beginning. The most important thing is to make him feel a sense of success after participating.
