What to do if a little girl is infected with mold

Vaginal candidiasis is usually a disease that adult women are prone to. If you have vaginitis, you can easily spread it to your family members if you don't keep your personal hygiene products separate from those of your family members. Little girls usually get candidal vaginitis because of infection from family members, poor personal hygiene or diabetes. It is not appropriate to use vaginal medications on little girls infected with fungi. Instead, they can be treated with oral medications and vulvar washing.

Causes of fungal infection in little girls

1. Not paying attention to the hygiene of the vulva can cause infection and develop candidal vaginitis: As girls are relatively young, they do not know much about vaginal hygiene and protection, and parents do not pay attention to the common sense education of their children's private parts cleaning and care. Over time, it will cause girls to have a lot of white vaginal discharge, which is like bean curd or curd. Young girls are often accompanied by vulvitis, and the vulva or vagina is itchy, which leads to the growth of Candida in the girl's vagina and then causes candidal vaginitis.

2. The girl is infected because her mother suffers from candidal vaginitis: When parents suffer from candidal vaginitis, if they do not pay attention to the separate use and placement of washing utensils such as bathtubs, soaps, towels, bath towels, etc., and even do not use separate washing basins for changing underwear, etc., this will cause cross infection over time and cause the girl to become ill.

3. If a girl is a diabetic, it is easy to cause candidal vaginitis: If a girl is a diabetic, the change in urine acidity and alkalinity of diabetic patients will also lead to the occurrence of candidal vaginitis. Therefore, girls with diabetes must be vigilant, actively perform vaginal care, and prevent the occurrence of candidal vaginitis.

Treatment of fungal infection in little girl

Fungal infections are more likely to recur and require thorough treatment. Vaginal medication is not suitable for little girls, but they can take nystatin tablets orally. Or clean the vulva with diluted sodium bicarbonate solution, change your underwear every day, and expose it to the sun.

It is recommended to try some external suppositories, soda water or nystatin tablets; drink more water, eat less spicy, raw, cold and irritating food, pay attention to personal genital hygiene, eat more fresh vegetables, and exercise more to enhance physical fitness.

Things to note when a little girl suffers from vaginal candidiasis

1. Little girls clean their vulva every day;

2. Change underwear every day;

3. After defecation, be sure to wipe from front to back to avoid contamination of the vulva by feces;

4. When parents suffer from candidal vaginitis, washing utensils (bathtub, towel, bath towel, etc.) should be separated from children to avoid cross infection;

5. When there is infection in other parts of the child's body, do not use antibiotics indiscriminately, or follow the doctor's advice, and the medication time should not be too long. Avoid bacterial imbalance (if antibiotics are used for a long time, it will cause bacterial imbalance);

6. For little girls with diabetes (changes in urine acidity and alkalinity can also lead to candidal vaginitis), parents should pay attention to it and actively treat it to reduce the occurrence of candidal vaginitis.
