It is best to start massage between two feedings, with the room temperature between 22℃~26℃ and it is best if there is plenty of sunlight indoors. Before massage, the mother should remove any accessories, including rings and watches, and her nails should be trimmed short. Then wash your hands with hot water, using a little boiled and cooled vegetable oil as a lubricant. Help the baby take off his clothes and let the baby lie on the bed. The mother can adopt a suitable posture for massage. The order of massage is from head to toe, starting from the head, then the face, neck, shoulders, arms, chest, abdomen, back, legs and feet, and finally massage from neck to feet symmetrically. The movements during massage should be gentle. Start by stroking lightly, then observe the child's reaction and increase the strength a little, gently pushing the subcutaneous muscles. During massage, if the child has a happy expression, it means he needs this kind of massage. Each part of the body can generally be massaged 2 to 3 times. Small parts of the child's body can be massaged with fingertips or fingers, and large parts of the body can be massaged with the palms or the entire palm. Each massage lasts for several minutes, gradually extending to 20 minutes. During the massage, you can play some soft music to let the baby relax freely all over the body. The mother can also talk to the baby while massaging. This is the best time for mother-child communication and can make the baby feel that your massage is a pleasant enjoyment.

Adults can feel comfortable when they have a massage, and babies can feel comfortable as well.
