How to solve hypospadias in infants

The healthy development of the baby is of great concern to every parent, but things often go against one's wishes. Many babies are born with one congenital malformation or another. This will make more parents feel very painful. After the baby is born, some parents will find that their baby has hypospadias, and they are often at a loss what to do. Parents, please note that infant hypospadias is a type of congenital malformation that can cause great harm to children, but there are also treatments available.

Hypospadias has many harmful effects. The urethral opening of children with hypospadias is in different positions from the ventral side of the penis to the scrotum and perineum. Although children with an anterior urethral opening (i.e., glans penis type) do not have difficulty urinating while standing, the appearance of the penis is often abnormal, and the urine stream slants downward. Children with urethral openings on the penis shaft, scrotum, or perineum not only need to squat to urinate, but may also develop a penile curvature deformity that affects the normal development of the penis. During puberty, the curvature of the penis is more severe during erection, and may be accompanied by pain and difficulty in sexual life.

For hypospadias, surgery is the only treatment. It is better to wait until the child is a little older. The basic conditions for surgical repair can be met at around 3 years old. It is best to choose a Grade A hospital, especially one with doctors who specialize in this area, because the success rate of this operation is low and there are many surgical methods! Experience is very important! Most children with hypospadias can achieve satisfactory results after surgical correction. As long as the testicular function is normal, they will be able to reproduce in the future. Parents should observe their male babies more during their infancy and strive for early detection and early treatment.

Parents are very concerned about their children's physical and mental growth, especially when they are in the fragile infant stage, family members must carefully observe every subtle performance of the baby. Various symptoms must be discovered and treated promptly, so that you can give your baby a healthier future and a healthier living environment.
