What are the signs that your baby is not full?

What are the signs that your baby is not full?

Parents are of course more worried about their babies not eating enough, because if the baby is not full, the nutrition cannot be kept up, which will have a certain impact on his growth and development. However, many parents do not know what symptoms the baby will have if he is not full. Therefore, we must understand what symptoms the baby will have if he is not full, so that the baby can eat more healthily.

Generally speaking, the following aspects can be used to judge whether the baby is hungry or full:

1. It is more reliable to judge whether the baby is full by the baby's weight gain and daily behavior. If the baby is in good spirits and in a good mood when awake, and his weight increases day by day, it means that the baby is full; if the baby's weight gains slowly for a long time and the possibility of suffering from a certain disease is ruled out, it means that the baby is not full when he is generally considered to be full.

2. When breastfeeding, the baby does not leave the breast for a long time. After breastfeeding, the baby cries. This is a sign that he is full.

3. The baby can sleep quietly after feeding and only cries a little before the next feeding. Or sometimes the baby will suck the nipple hard for a while, then spit it out and cry, without gaining weight. This is a sign that the baby is not full.

4. If the baby has difficulty in feeding, falls asleep after sucking for a while, wakes up crying within 1-2 hours of sleep, or sometimes sucks milk violently, this is a sign that the baby is not full.

5. Abnormal bowel movements, including constipation and diarrhea. Normal stool should be yellow and ointment-like. When there is insufficient milk, the baby's stool may become hard, loose, green, or occur more frequently with a small amount of stool excreted each time. This is a sign that the baby is not full.

I hope parents can pay attention to the issue of feeding their babies. If you are always worried that your baby is not full and try to feed him hard, it will be very uncomfortable for him and may even affect his gastrointestinal health. Therefore, parents must understand the symptoms of a baby’s hunger so that they can achieve healthy feeding.
