Symptoms of hip dislocation in babies

Symptoms of hip dislocation in babies

When a disease occurs in the body, there will be some obvious symptoms. These symptoms must be understood first so that the correct method can be chosen when treating the disease. Baby hip dislocation is a common problem. When a baby has such a problem, it needs to be improved in time. What are the symptoms of baby hip dislocation? Many people are not clear about it. Let me introduce it in detail below.

Symptoms of hip dislocation in babies:

(A) Limited joint movement Congenital hip dislocation in childhood is usually characterized by painlessness and no limited joint movement. However, in infancy and neonatal period, the opposite is true, there is temporary joint dysfunction and a certain fixed posture. The typical symptoms include the child's limbs being flexed and not being able to be straightened, with poorer movement and weakness than the healthy side. The limbs can be straightened when pulled, but will bend again after the pull. A few infants have their lower limbs in external rotation, abduction or crossed positions, and even the hip joints are completely stiff. A few children cry and make noises when their lower limbs are pulled.

(B) Limb shortening: Unilateral hip dislocation often causes shortening of the affected limb.

(iii) Other common symptoms include asymmetry of the labia majora, increased, deeper or asymmetrical skin folds on the buttocks, inner thighs or popliteal fossa, widening of the perineum, and sometimes a "snap" or bouncing sensation when the affected limb is moved.

After understanding the symptoms of hip dislocation in your baby, when improving your baby's hip dislocation, you need to proceed according to the baby's symptoms. However, during the treatment of your baby's hip dislocation, you must also pay attention to your diet. At this time, you must choose light food and cannot eat some complex foods, otherwise it will not help your body at all.
