Diet therapy for wind-heat cough in children

Diet therapy for wind-heat cough in children

Parents with children at home must be familiar with children's wind-heat cough. Children's constant fever, coughing, sputum, etc. every day are all worrying parents. In order to prevent and treat, on the one hand, prevention and treatment are inevitable, on the other hand, mothers can also try some simple and easy-to-make dietary therapy for their children.

1 pear + rock sugar + Sichuan Fritillary

Cut the pear in half horizontally near the stem, dig out the core and add 2 to 3 crystal sugars and 5 to 6 Fritillaria cirrhosa (the Fritillaria cirrhosa should be crushed into powder). Put the pear in half and put them in a bowl. Steam it for about 30 minutes and feed it to your baby in two portions. This recipe has the effects of moistening the lungs, relieving cough and resolving phlegm. Babies generally like to stay cool. When they feel hot, they turn on the air conditioner and eat cold fruits all year round. The number of babies suffering from wind-heat cough has decreased significantly.

2 Boil radish water

Wash the white radish, cut it into 4 to 5 thin slices, put it in a small pot, add half a bowl of water, bring it to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Wait until the water cools down a little before giving it to your baby. This recipe is very effective in treating wind-heat cough, dry nose and throat, and dry cough with little sputum. It is more effective for babies under 2 years old.

3. Honey Pear Juice

First wash the pears with clean water, then use a knife to cut off the tops. Then use a small spoon to hollow out the inside, making sure to take out the appropriate amount. Add appropriate amount of pine nuts and chopped dates. Finally, put it in the oven set to 180 degrees, bake for 30 minutes, let it cool down and add honey to finish!

Through the introduction of the above few dietary therapy methods, I believe that all mothers are eager to try them. Children are weak and easy to get sick, but medicine is nine-tenths toxic. If the child suffers from children's wind-heat cough, mothers can first use dietary therapy to adjust the condition, and then take the child to see a doctor, so as to better protect the child's healthy growth!
