Causes of hot palms and feet in children

Children are very easy to get angry because they are not good at expressing themselves. They don’t know what words to use to say where they are uncomfortable. They can only express their unhappiness by crying. Therefore, if a child is sick, it will make parents very anxious. What causes the hot palms and soles of children? Let’s analyze the reasons why children’s palms and soles are hot for parents and friends.

1. Malnutrition, spleen deficiency, hot palms and soles. The reason is irregular diet. Some children eat excessively, at irregular times, and often eat snacks. In the long run, it can damage the spleen and stomach function, cause abnormal transportation and metabolism, and form stagnation. Stagnation lasts for a long time, and the essence of water and grain cannot be absorbed, forming malnutrition and fever. The second is that after suffering from other diseases, such as vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, parasitic diseases, etc., if they are not treated properly for a long time, they will damage the qi and blood, leading to malnutrition and the formation of malnutrition and fever. These children often have hot palms and soles, sallow complexion, thin muscles, dry hair, distended abdomen, poor appetite, frequent ingestion of foreign objects, restless sleep at night, loose stools, undigested food, and yellow and turbid urine like rice water. 2. Deficiency of blood and yin, fever in the hands and feet are mostly caused by weak constitution, or lack of conditioning after a serious illness or fever, which has led to loss of yin and blood, and failure to restore vital energy. These children often show symptoms such as hot palms and soles, emaciation, listlessness, cough with little sputum, dizziness, tinnitus, dry mouth and tongue, hot flashes in the afternoon, red cheeks, night sweats, frequent urination, and constipation. Fever in the palms and soles of children is most commonly caused by malnutrition and spleen deficiency, and most of them occur in infants under 3 years old. While using medication, you should also pay attention to supplementing a certain amount of nutritious food, allowing children to get more sun and breathe fresh air to promote physical recovery.

Hot palms and feet are one of the reasons why children do not have a fixed diet, do not eat regular meals, and always eat a variety of snacks, which causes some discomfort in the spleen and stomach and eventually causes fever. The second reason is that the fever is caused by inappropriate treatment of some diseases in the baby. In short, if the physique is too weak, it is easy to suffer from some diseases. Hot hands and feet will also cause a series of symptoms such as dry mouth. Therefore, children should be given more water to drink and eat more nutritious foods to strengthen their physique and not let the baby suffer from illness.
