What to do if your child has neck pain

In daily life, parents should pay close attention to some minor problems of their children, and pay more attention to some uncomfortable parts of the body. The child's neck pain should be due to stiff neck. After the stiff neck, you can try the following methods to treat it:

1. Apply local hot compress. Apply a hot towel to the affected area several times a day for better results.

2. Pain point massage: The massager stands behind the patient with stiff neck and presses the neck lightly with one finger to find the most painful point. Then use a thumb to start from the top of the neck on that side and go all the way to the shoulder and back. Massage the most painful point vigorously and repeat 2 to 3 times. Then tap the massaged area with a hollow fist and repeat 2 to 3 times. It can quickly relax spasmodic neck muscles and relieve pain.

3. Apply Voltaren cream topically, rub gently, it has a rapid analgesic effect, 3 times a day. You can also apply antispasmodic and analgesic tincture to the painful areas. Applying medicine and massaging the painful points will have better effects.

4. Apply the analgesic plaster to the painful area on the neck and change it once a day. It has the best analgesic effect.

5. Chinese medicine remedy: 20 grams of Codonopsis pilosula, 20 grams of Astragalus membranaceus, 12 grams of Vitex rotundus, 12 grams of Pueraria root, 10 grams of Phellodendron chinense, 10 grams of White Peony Root, 6 grams of Cimicifuga heracleifolia, and 5 grams of roasted Licorice root. Take 1 dose of decoction daily. Efficacy: dispel wind and promote blood circulation, treat stiff neck, stiff neck, and inability to turn around, etc. Generally, it takes 1 to 3 doses to take effect.

If it is caused by stiff neck, parents should not worry too much. Taking some measures immediately can make the child get better as soon as possible.
