Baby vaccinations

Baby vaccinations

Everyone knows that the body resistance of a newborn baby is very fragile. It has no resistance when facing various bacteria and viruses in the outside world. In order to avoid infection, newborns need to be vaccinated after birth. There are many requirements for this kind of baby vaccination when injecting. When to inject and what kind of vaccine to inject are all very important. Many new parents may not understand this very well.

Babies must be vaccinated after birth. This is not only for the health of the child, but if the baby is not vaccinated, it is easy for the baby to get sick or be infected with one disease or another. It will be more difficult to treat at that time, and in serious cases, the root of the disease will remain.

The hepatitis B vaccine is given to prevent hepatitis B virus infection. The first shot of the hepatitis B vaccine is given within 24 hours after birth, the second shot is given after the newborn is one month old, and the third shot is given after the newborn is six months old, for a total of three shots.

BCG vaccination is to prevent tuberculosis. The BCG injection should be completed within 24 to 72 hours after the birth of a newborn. If the vaccination time is missed due to certain circumstances, it should be supplemented as soon as possible under the doctor's arrangement after recovery. When the baby is 3 months old, he or she should go to the local tuberculosis prevention and control center for a tuberculin test to determine whether the vaccination is effective.

So what issues should parents pay attention to before vaccinating their babies? First of all, before injecting the vaccine, parents should prepare their children's vaccination certificates. Secondly, you need to understand your baby's health condition in detail, pay attention to whether your baby has fever, diarrhea, cough, etc. in recent days, and whether your baby has come into contact with people suffering from infectious diseases, so that you can tell the doctor for reference. Finally, if your child suffers from heart, liver, or kidney disease, epilepsy, or has had a seizure, be sure to tell the doctor and let the doctor decide whether the vaccine can be given.

The above is an introduction to infant vaccination. If you are a first-time parent, I believe you should know the importance of vaccination. Before your baby is ready to receive the vaccine, make sure he or she gets enough sleep and is well fed to prevent him or her from getting sick from the injection due to excessive hunger.
