Can children's growing pains be relieved by soaking their feet more often?

Growing pains can be said to be a problem that children will definitely encounter during their growth, especially after exercise, the symptoms of growth pain may become more severe, but childhood growing pains should not have any bad effects on the child's life. However, sometimes in daily life, the pain in the child's body is not caused by growing pains, which should be taken seriously.

So what are children's growing pains? What impact will growing pains have on children's lives? What are the symptoms of childbirth pains in children? If children have growing pains, how should they be solved?

Growing pains often occur between the ages of 2 and 13, and are mainly manifested as unexplained pain around the knee joint or in the front of the calf in children, but there is no local redness, swelling or tenderness, and activities are normal. The pain usually occurs around dusk. Excessive exercise and fatigue can aggravate the symptoms. The pain will ease on its own after rest and disappear completely the next morning. The reason is that children grow fast in height during this period. Because bones grow rapidly, the surrounding nerves, tendons, and muscles grow relatively slowly, thus causing a pulling pain.

The cause of growing pains is not bone fatigue, but soft tissue fatigue. The important thing to treat growing pains in children is rest. If you have discomfort in your knees or calves, don't force yourself to exercise. Before going to bed every night, you can soak your calves and feet in hot water, but if you are not tired, you should be encouraged to move more appropriately. When the pain is severe, you can apply local massage or try taking 200 mg of vitamin C orally 3 times a day. Growing pains in children will not cause any sequelae and will not affect normal growth and development.

In general, if it is determined that the child is suffering from growing pains, then soaking the child's feet more often and supplementing the child with calcium in daily life can actually be of great help in relieving the symptoms of childbirth pain in children. Of course, if the child is not suffering from growing pains but some other problems, then it is best to seek medical attention in time.
