Baby's fever is to increase resistance

Baby's fever is to increase resistance

It is a very common phenomenon in life that babies have fever. Many parents believe that a baby's fever can increase their resistance. This statement is not entirely correct. If the baby's fever temperature does not exceed 38.5, it is generally recommended to physically cool the baby. However, if the body temperature is too high, it will cause the baby's immune function to be disrupted. At this time, the baby needs to be treated in time.

Does a fever boost your baby's immunity?

Only when the Yang Qi is sufficient will you get a fever easily

Why do children have a fever when they catch a cold? Because children have abundant yang energy and they work hard to push out heat in an attempt to get rid of the cold. Children often have a fever of 40 degrees, while most adults do not have a fever or a high fever for many years. Because adults do not have enough energy and do not have the strength, in fact, a low fever is a sign of low immunity. It is not a bad thing for children to have a fever occasionally. At least in Western medicine, it means that they have become immune to certain viruses.

Children nowadays are particularly pitiful. Whenever they catch a cold or a fever, they have to get injections and take medicine. Frequent excessive medication may damage their body's immune system.

Rich people get sick and die faster

Nowadays, adults generally take children's fever too seriously. Because they feel sorry for the children, they can't help but become emotional. Once a child has a high fever, parents are afraid that he may go crazy from the fever, so they try their best to give him medicine. They applied the wrong medicine and accidentally got pneumonia. After getting pneumonia, they thought that the medicine was not enough and continued to apply medicine, especially the rich people.

What to do if your baby has a fever

1. See a doctor

It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a detailed examination of your baby first. Generally, a routine blood test will be done to see if there is inflammation or fever caused by other reasons.

2. Pay attention to your baby's dietary hygiene

If a baby has a fever during teething, it is likely caused by unhygienic eating habits and chewing on unclean food. At this time, you should be careful not to let your baby put anything in his mouth, especially not to let your baby eat unclean food, so as to avoid bacterial infection and fever.

3. Choose drugs carefully

If your baby's fever is too high when teething, exceeding 38.5℃, you can give him special antipyretic medicine for babies (excluding other abnormal conditions, the low fever is only caused by teething). A high temperature can damage your baby's internal organs.

When the temperature is below 38.5℃, you can use physical cooling (use warm water to wipe the baby's limbs, armpits, and back of the neck. It must be warm water, not cold water), and you can use cold water to cool the forehead. Parents should pay attention. If the baby has so-called cold reactions such as cold hands and feet, trembling whole body, purple lips, etc., they should stop feeding immediately.

4. Let your baby drink more water

When a baby has a fever during teething, it is sometimes because of poor oral hygiene and infection caused by excessive harmful bacteria, so parents should pay attention to keeping the baby's mouth clean. You can let your baby drink more water, which can not only keep the baby's mouth clean, but also replenish the water lost by the baby due to fever.

5. Measure your baby’s temperature regularly

At this time, you need to measure the baby's body temperature regularly and monitor the baby's temperature changes. If the baby's body temperature is lower than 38.5℃, there is usually no need to use medication. Physical cooling methods can be used, such as cooling patches or warm water towels, which are all good methods.
