Can children's true myopia be cured?

In our lives, many children suffer from pseudomyopia. The so-called pseudomyopia means that during this period of time, children may overuse their eyes, which will cause dry eyes and make it difficult for them to see clearly. They will often rub their eyes. In fact, this situation can be changed by using some eye drops for children and strictly controlling their eye use time. If it is true myopia, can children's true myopia be cured?

The external factors are mainly environmental factors: this is more common in people engaged in clerical work or other close-range work. There are also many myopic students, and the incidence rate increases significantly from the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school. This phenomenon shows that the occurrence and development of myopia is closely related to close-range work. The hot and cold method is a method of applying hot and cold towels to the eyes alternately. It is very helpful in eliminating eye fatigue, promoting blood circulation, stimulating eye muscles and relaxing stiff extraocular muscles. It can achieve the purpose of refreshing the mind, activating eye cells and enhancing metabolic function.

The child's condition is considered to be true myopia. This disease refers to myopia that still exists after examination with medication to dilate the pupil, which is fundamentally different from pseudomyopia. Therefore, its occurrence is due to pathological changes in the fundus, while pseudomyopia occurs when there are no pathological changes in the fundus. Because once true myopia is formed, it is irreversible and it is a pathological change occurring in the fundus. Therefore, apart from surgery, his treatment cannot be cured by medicine. It is recommended to wear glasses and pay attention to eye hygiene and correct use of eyes.

You can use some eye drops to relieve ciliary muscle tension and adjust them according to your usual eye habits. Pay attention to medication hygiene, eat less sweets, do more outdoor sports, and spend at least two hours outdoors every day. Make sure you hold the pen correctly. The posture when writing or reading is also very important. The distance between the book and your eyes should be one foot. Don't watch TV, especially don't use your mobile phone, and don't play on the computer. You can’t read while riding in a car, walking, or lying down! You also have to go to the hospital for regular checkups.
