I don’t know if you have seen some patients in life who may have corns on their feet. Most of these patients are children. Because when children are young, their body resistance is relatively poor, and their shoes do not fit their feet. If they walk too much, they will easily grow calluses on their feet, which will gradually develop into corns, which will make children feel particularly painful. Corns are a kind of skin disease. So what should children do if they have corns on their feet? 1 What to do if children have corns on their feet: Salicylic acid phenol plaster Salicylic acid phenol patch is also known as corn plaster. Salicylic acid has antifungal, antipruritic and keratin-dissolving effects; phenol is a disinfectant and preservative with bactericidal and antipruritic effects. Soak the affected area in hot water for 10 minutes before use, wipe dry, tear off the cover film and apply to the affected area. After 24 hours, if the affected area softens and turns white, and feels slightly painful, change the dressing once (it is advisable to remove the white softened layer first). If the above phenomenon is not found, the application time can be extended until all the corns fall off. 2 What to do if children have corns on their feet: The white membrane inside the scallion Tear off the white membrane inside the green onion, and then use tape to fix it on the corn area. The pain symptoms will be reduced after one night, but be sure to wash your feet before use. 3 What to do if children have corns on their feet: Fengyoujing After washing the corns, use a cotton swab to dip in medicated oil and apply it to the corns. For large corns, we can first use corn ointment to corrode a hole in the middle of the corn, and then pour the medicated oil into it. If you persist for 15 days, the corns will fall off. 4 What to do if corns grow on children's feet: Evergreen leaves First soak the affected area in warm water with light salt, scrape off the old skin with a knife, then take an appropriate amount of evergreen leaves, wash them, mash them and apply them to the affected area, bandage them with gauze, and fix them with adhesive tape. Change them every 2 days and they will heal after 3 times. How to prevent corns on children's feet 1. Choose suitable and loose shoes to avoid foot deformities. 2. When you feel that a part of your foot is squeezed and rubbed, you should promptly use podiatric braces such as corn pads, toe straighteners, toe separators, toe caps, etc. to reduce friction and squeezing. 3. When corns and calluses form on the soles of the feet, you can wear specific or non-specific orthopedic insoles to change the force on the soles of the feet to reduce friction. 4. Avoid using unclean knives and scissors to prevent infection. Do not remove corns or calluses by yourself. Diabetic patients, in particular, should avoid treating calluses or corns by themselves to avoid worsening of the condition. 5. Soak your feet frequently: Develop the habit of soaking your feet in hot water every night to soften corns and calluses. Wash your feet regularly. |
